Project Iris: A zero-ink instant camera meticulously fashioned to double as the boarding pass and voyage keepsake for upcoming spacefarers. This device imposes a cap of 20 printable photographs and forsakes a digital screen, purposefully inspiring a discerning approach to each shot, all the while ensuring an immersive engagement with their extraordinary journey.
Central to its design is a cutting-edge AI-controlled drone, seamlessly detachable from the primary camera unit. This remarkable drone assumes the roles of capturing group portraits and shadowing the user in sentry mode. Navigating the microgravity environment is achieved through internal fans and a compact reaction wheel module, akin to the technology employed aboard the International Space Station.
